Thank you for choosing to adopt your new family member from The Sanctuary at Haafsville. We'd be delighted to help you make the right match and adopt an animal. We will make every effort to ensure that the adoption experience will be positive for you, your household members and your new pet.
We are open every Saturday from 10:00am - 2:00pm ET with the following hours:
DOG Open Hours – Saturdays 10am – 2pm
**Please do not bring your own dogs**
CAT Open Hours for previously scheduled appointments – Saturdays 10am – 12pm
CAT Open Hours without appointments – Saturdays 12pm – 2pm
Please understand we need to operate in accordance with CDC guidelines. There is a high probability of an extended wait time as we need to limit the number of people in the building at one time. Visitors will be allowed in on a first come/first served basis.
This is a great opportunity to meet our resident animals and the Sanctuary Volunteers and get to know more about our animals and Us!
Not all our animals are kept at the shelter but are cared for by our wonderful Foster families-so if you want to meet or confirm whether a particular animal will be at the shelter for our adoption events, please call us in advance.
Adoption payment is required before taking an animal home. We accept Cash or Credit Card for adoption fees. All our animals are fully up to date on shots when leaving The Sanctuary and are ready for your home.
For any additional information on dog adoptions, please email dogadoptions@thesanctuarypa.org and for cat adoptions, please email catadoptions@thesanctuarypa.org . Thank You!
