How to Adopt from The Sanctuary

Thank you for choosing to adopt your new family member from The Sanctuary at Haafsville. We'd be delighted to help you make the right match and adopt an animal.  We will make every effort to ensure that the adoption experience will be positive for you, your household members and your new pet.

We are open every Saturday from 10:00am - 2:00pm ET for Adoption Days!  This is a great opportunity to meet our resident animals and the Sanctuary Volunteers and get to know more about our animals and Us!

Not all our animals are kept at the shelter but are cared for by our wonderful Foster families-so if you want to meet or confirm whether a particular animal will be at the shelter for our adoption events, please call us in advance

Adoption payment is required before taking an animal home.  We accept Cash or Credit Card for adoption fees. All our animals are fully up to date on shots when leaving The Sanctuary and are ready for your home.

What types of animals do you offer?

Dogs

Our Dogs are vetted with shots and spay/neuter and ready to join your family. Lots of love all come standard.

Cats

We have young and adult Cats and Kittens for adoption.  Cats and Kittens must leave The Sanctuary in a carrier.

Looking for a Puppy?

Looking for a Puppy? Our volunteers look forward to helping you find a wonderful new family member. Since puppies are always in high demand, the first step in the puppy adoption process is to complete and submit the guardianship application. Applications and emails are viewed in the order they are received. As volunteers, we may not respond to all requests, as the volume of inquires can be high, but we do our best to reply promptly to all those interested in bringing a puppy into their home. Puppies are up to date on vaccines appropriate for the age, flea treated, and dewormed. Spaying/Neutering is required when age ready.

Email your guardianship application to: puppyadoptions@thesanctuarypa.org

Libby
NOW AVAILABLE AT PETCO
This poor girl was found abandoned in her home. Libby was left with no food, water or litter during a recent heatwave.
Libby is incredibly friendly, interactive and loving. She practically jumps into your arms when you open her cage. Libby is so happy to be getting the attention she needs. She loves people and will head butt you for pets and head scratches . Libby will actually hug you back. She does NOT like dogs and doesn’t seem to care for other cats either. Libby is a beautiful girl who will be an excellent companion.
Libby is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for felv/fiv and litter trained. We are currently featuring Libby at Petco Lower Nazareth (3895 Dryland Way, Easton). Direct adoption inquiries to Amanda 610-401-7523 or email us at
