With dedicated patrons The Sanctuary can continue to flourish and help more animals. Please let us know if you would consider patronizing in these following ways.

Donate the items we really need through our Amazon Wishlists. Here you will find the items we need most at the shelter to help care and protect the animals until they find their forever homes. Click one of the buttons below.

How to Donate Goods

We accept donations (i.e. food, towels, blankets and much more) that help our resident animals maintain a healthy and comfortable life while living at the Sanctuary. If you are looking to drop-off a donation, please place the items in our green donation bin at the front of the Mutt Hutt (901 Nestle Way location) between Wednesday through Saturday. Please do not leave donations Sunday through Tuesday as we need time to accept the donations into the space at our facility. If you drop items off during our open hours on Saturday, please keep in mind that our adoption teams are actively working with families to try to find their new companion!

Please note we cannot accept any items with stuffing such as comforters, pillows, cushions, sleeping bags, etc. as those items are choking hazards to our animals! At this time, we are not accepting open bags of food. Please launder any items you wish to donate as we do not have services to clean donated items and do not donate clothing or misc items that cannot be used by the animals. If you are looking to make a monetary donation, you can do so above.

Adoption Spotlight

?

Whiskers
Whiskers is a handsome and friendly fellow who was transferred to the Sanctuary at Haafsville from another shelter. He was recently adopted with another FIV- cat with whom he got along with very well. The adopters absolutely loved him. Unfortunately, Whiskers was not a fan of their dog and was constantly aggressive with him. The adopters tried to make it work. They were heartbroken to make the decision to return Whiskers. The adopters reported that Whiskers is an excellent and gentle companion for all family members, especially children. Whiskers is very affectionate and is a lap cat. He is always ready for petting and cuddling. Whiskers loves to be by your side while you’re relaxing and watching television. Whiskers is a good boy who has so much love to give.

NO DOGS FOR WHISKERS!!!!

Whiskers is 3 to 4 years old, healthy, neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV, litter trained and microchipped. He is FIV+ and can happily co-exist with other friendly cats. FIV+ cats can live long, happy and healthy lives.
