Arthur

Arthur is a kind, gentle, trusting and gentle soul. He is extremely friendly and approaches everyone for attention- Arthur expects everyone will love him - and they do. He wants to be with people and follows them around. Arthur is fine with other friendly cats. He enjoys sitting in his cat bed especially when it’s situated directly in a sunbeam. Please consider opening your heart and home to this handsome guy - he should not be spending his remaining time in the shelter - he serves a place to call HOME. Arthur is such a good boy.

Arthur is 15 years old, neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/ FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Bazinga and Ravioli

Bazinga and Ravioli are a bonded pair and MUST be adopted together.
They were adopted together as kittens through the Sanctuary at Haafsville nearly 2 years ago. Sadly, the owner recently passed away.

Bazinga and Ravioli should have no trouble finding a new home - you can tell they were well cared for and loved. Upon arrival to the shelter, they were understandably sad, confused and scared. Within a short time, they are now starting to relax and come out of their shells. Both are craving attention and reassurance from volunteers. Bazinga crawled into a volunteers lap and stayed there purring while being pet. Ravioli gladly accepted petting and even rolled onto her back enjoying every second. They will certainly need time to adjust in a new home but with patience and gentle, loving hands, they will blossom in no time. They are truly beautiful and affectionate cats who deserve the best possible home

Bazinga and Ravioli are 2 years old, healthy, spayed/ neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Crispin

Crispin arrived at the Sanctuary at Haafsville as a stray. No one has claimed him so he can now find his forever loving home. Crispin loves people and getting attention. He thoroughly enjoys being pet. Crispin is very particular about the feline company he keeps - he can be aggressive with certain cats (especially males) but then cuddles with younger cats. For a successful adoption, we are recommending him to be the only cat in a home. Overall, he is a good boy who is quiet and likes to relax in cozy places. We know he will thrive in a home of his very own.

Crispin is 3 years old, healthy, neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.

Ellie

Grumpy Cat. Lil Bub. Venus the Two-Faced Kitten. That white cat with the yelling woman in the meme. Could Ellie and magnificent nose be the next feline sensation to sweep the internet? She is truly one of a kind!

So I can't guarantee that Ellie will bring you global fame. I can't even guarantee you that Ellie will retain her large nose. However, I can assure you that Ellie will bring you genuine companionship. She loves hanging out with people and being part of the action. She loves attention and petting. She is curious and loving, perfect for a feline friend! Between her quirky looks and sweet personality, we think she is irresistible! I would totally follow her on Instagram.

Ellie came to us with an oversized nose. We did have it biopsied and it is benign. It may get smaller in time or it may stay the magnificent schnoz that it currently is. Either way, she is just perfect!

Ellie is 12 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Persephone

Sleek. Statuesque. Stunning.
Persephone will have no trouble transitioning into the goddess of your home. This lovely feline, with her unique, rich coloring and mesmerizing eyes, may very well have a seat waiting for her atop Mount Olympus.

Luckily for us, she is gracing us mere mortals with her charming personality instead. Persephone enjoys attention in the form of petting and treats but she is also fine with snuggling into a cozy bed to cat nap and observe the room. She is sweet, loving, and absolutely beautiful!

She is adjusting to shelter life but she really needs a loving home for her golden years. Pixie seeks attention and “chirps” when she wants petting. Pixie is very lively and interactive - it’s hard to believe she’s a senior cat. She is ok with other cats however the most successful adoption would be where she is the only cat. Pixie would enjoy being the queen of your castle.

Pixie is 13 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Puzzle

Puzzle is new to the Sanctuary at Haafsville. This beautiful girl came in as a stray and no one has been looking for her. She approaches people and accepts light petting. She will thrive in a loving home but will need patience, reassurance and lots of TLC. Puzzle is fine with the other cats. She is gentle and mild mannered. We are recommending her for a quiet, low activity household. Puzzle deserves a second chance at a wonderful life.

Sunshine

Doesn’t matter what time of year, nothing improves your mood like sunshine. This Sunshine is soft, sweet, gentle, curious, and stunning.

Sunshine has been in a caring foster home. The foster mom reported that Sunshine is a lovely girl who doesn’t mind being picked up and held. She is quite affectionate. It appears that Sunshine’s previous owner trained her not to jump on counters or furniture. Throughout her stay at the foster home, Sunshine always stayed on the floor. She is now at the shelter waiting for her forever home. Sunshine is receptive to attention from volunteers and adjusting to the shelter environment. She seems fine with the other free roaming cats. Sunshine is a precious girl who will brighten all of your days.

Whether it is rainy, cloudy or sunny outside as you read this, today seems determined to be a stormy day.

Let this be your moment to drift back to warm summer memories full of vacations at the shore, walking along the ocean, feeling the sun on your skin, and the delicious taste of salt water taffy.

Taffy is your ticket to a delightful mental break from your troubles and worries. Her coloring is as lovely as a beach sunset. Her eyes are as memorizing as the waves rolling in and out. And, most importantly, she is as sweet as Taffy!

Taffy is 10 months old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.

Ween

Ween is hoping for a miracle. She is the longest resident in the Sanctuary at Haafsville Cat Building. Ween is sweet, loving, playful, and a shameless mooch! Besides that, she is gorgeous with thoughtful eyes and lovely coloring.

You may be wondering how such a great cat is still at a shelter. It is because this purrfect girl also has occasional accidents outside of the litter box.

Ween is a very special cat who needs a special person, someone who is patient, understanding, and good with a Swiffer! However, the reward is a truly amazing companion. Ween has participated in multiple photoshoots while on a leash and harness. She even completed a 5K riding along in a backpack.

Ween is 5 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV & FIV, and microchipped.

Barkley

Hello, I’m Barkley I am in urgent need of a new home. My dad passed away and my mom is not in good health. I am currently in a temporary foster home but can only stay here until the end of February. I am living in one room because family members are allergic to me and the dog is not happy that I’m here. I need my own home where I can be loved and feel like I belong.

Please consider giving me a new loving and forever home. I am a very healthy, affectionate and energetic boy. I love to be rubbed and would enjoy spending time with you. Ruthie

Ruthie is a senior gal, about 13 years old and weighs just over 5 pounds. She’s completely blind but has no trouble getting around the shop, climbing stairs, finding her litter boxes, food and her beloved cat tree. More than anything, Ruthie loves being outside, walking in (and tasting) the grass and feeling the sun and wind on her face. Her foster takes her out with a harness and she shows no fear of traffic or trains, so a fenced area is a must.

Ruthie was recently at the vet and was given a clean bill of health except for some slight anemia, for which she’s on a liquid vitamin that must be administered orally twice a day. In order to help her gain weight she eats dry kitten food and canned adult food. She will need a follow up appointment in a few weeks to adjust her diet if needed. Ruthie would do best in a quiet home, either as an only pet or where there are other special needs cats who she won’t have to compete with for food or litter box access.
