The foster mom reports that Potato is a small and beautiful calico. She is very playful and loves to pounce on toys or jump up and down on her cat tower. She is skittish around people, and is not yet staying still for petting. She is very food-motivated though, and will eat while I sit right next to her. She will sometimes allow me to touch her gently while she gets treats (she loves tuna pouches!). She has a lot of potential but needs a calm and nurturing home where she can continue to blossom.

Augustus is missing his tail. He is timid but slowly learning how to trust people. He hisses softly when he is approached and feels threatened, but he has never tried to bite or scratch. However, in his "safe spot" (a cat bed partially hidden under a human bed), he is sweet and friendly, and he will often climb into the cat bed for petting when I lie down next to it. He will stay in the cat bed for 10 minutes or more just purring and being pet. Time and patience will help this sweet boy feel safe in any spot.

Meet Cashmere
A silky jet-black beauty who can be a bit dramatic. She may act tough when you first walk in, but don’t be fooled, her shy hiss quickly becomes a loud purr —Cashmere would much rather be your best friend than your enemy. She warms up within seconds and then she’s all about pets, affection, and rolling around at your feet to steal your attention. She is growing more confident by the day and will surely soon prefer to be nowhere other than in someone's lap. Cashmere is fine with other friendly cats but is not a fan of dogs. Please consider adopting her with her sister Corduroy who is still learning how wonderful human touch can be.

Corduroy is a cute, inquisitive little girl with a cautious heart. She’s not ready for hands-on affection yet and will let you know with a hiss or growl, but she’s always watching closely—especially her sister Cashmere, whom she relies on for reassurance and safety cues. With time, consistency, and a calm environment, Corduroy has all the potential to grow into a confident and trusting companion.
