Cinderella

“I don’t want a prince. I want shredded food and personal space.”

About Me:
Hi, I’m Cinderella. A regal, long-haired grey feline with a resting judgy face and a refined palate. My hobbies include perching on the kitchen counter like it’s my throne, silently evaluating your dinner decisions, and enjoying my daily serving of shredded wet food (any other texture is beneath me).

I do take a daily medication for my delicate stomach — it’s part of my mysterious charm. Please note: I’m not here for cuddles, holding, or unsolicited affection. Admire me from a respectful distance, and we’ll get along purrfectly.

Ideal Match:
Someone who understands boundaries, respects a woman’s need for independence, and will serve shredded cuisine with punctuality and reverence. Bonus points if you let me silently judge you from the countertop.

Turn-Offs:
Touchy-feely types, people who eat dry cereal for dinner, and anyone who dares remove me from my counter kingdom.

Swipe right if you’re ready to be quietly tolerated by royalty. ?

Cinderella is 4 years old, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/ FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Eagle Scout is 4 years old. There are no known health concerns. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Emerald

Emerald is certainly a beauty - but please consider her personality before deciding she might be the one for you. Emerald is a quiet girl who is fine with the other free roaming cats. She doesn’t cause any trouble. Emerald is independent and is often relaxing in a cubby or hut by herself. When it’s quiet, she is more adventurous and playful - she enjoys batting around a spring toy. Emerald typically runs away if you try to pet her. She is still learning to trust but she’ll get there. Emerald will need adopters who are patient and will accept her as she is. Emerald may never be a cuddly cat, but she still deserves a secure and loving home.

Emerald is 2 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Gingersnap

This girl became homeless after her owners dumped her. She does not hold any grudges. Gingersnap is hopeful and optimistic about her future. She arrived at the Sanctuary at Haafsville with a positive attitude. Gingersnap approaches volunteers for attention and reassurance. She is a very good girl who will be popular with those seeking a beautiful and loyal companion.

Gingersnap is 1 year old. There are no known health concerns. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Grenadine

Grenadine is a funny little girl. When she arrived she was the biggest scaredy cat. She found the most unusual places to hide - typically squeezing herself under the heavy metal cages. After a couple of weeks, this behavior needed to stop. The bottoms of the cages are now blocked off. Her forced socialization is working. Grenadine now approaches volunteers for attention and petting. She is more comfortable relaxing out in the open office area. Grenadine is becoming quite the lovebug and is highly adoptable. She just needed a little push and some confidence.

Grenadine is about 3 years old. There are no known health concerns. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Heather

5-26-26
Mark this date on your calendar

What makes this so important?
It's the date that Heather will have been with the Sanctuary for 4 years.
She was part of a hoarding situation.
She wasn't sure about people.
That is, until this year.
Though Heather did not like us, we all loved her. And maybe she loved us too, in a different way.
And then, we did the unthinkable. We put her in a carrier and took her to the vet. They stated that she needed to have all of her teeth removed. And while this was traumatic for her, it was also a very good thing for her.
After going back into Mandy's room post dental - Heather began to change.
For the first time in over three years - she let a volunteer pet her!
And then belly rubs!
While she won't approach you first, and you have to approach her slowly. She will let her guard down.
And we here, know that she is not done evolving.
She will grow more into a human attention seeking kitty. She may not be there yet, but we know she will get there in time.
She loves other cats. She loves to eat. She loves watching the birds.

Heather is 5 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.

Holly

Holly is a single mom who did a great job raising her little guy. She took care of him when they were outside and resources were scarce. She protected him from harm. She snuggled him and made him feel safe, even in an overwhelming new setting when they first arrived at the shelter. Holly was everything that a mom needs to be: loving, brave, and selfless.

Sweet Holly is now at the Sanctuary, ready for her forever home. Her kitten is older and in a foster home, socializing with other kittens his age. Holly no longer has to worry about finding food. Holly doesn't have to be concerned about foxes or cars or the bitter cold. Holly finally has love and stability.

She is still nervous and hides because that is the life she knew. However, when you take time to sit down with her, petting her and getting to know her, you can see what a wonderful cat she truly is.

Holly is 6 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.

Kitty Gaga

Kitty Gaga may not crave the spotlight, but she was still “Born This Way”—perfectly soft, gentle, and uniquely her. A quiet soul with a heart full of love, she moves through life like a tender melody, more “Speechless” than showy, but always deeply felt.

She’s the kind of cat who watches the world with wide, thoughtful eyes—her own little “Poker Face” hiding just how much affection she has to give. When she trusts you, though, it’s pure “Million Reasons” to smile: soft purrs, gentle head bumps, and cozy cuddles that feel like home.

Kitty Gaga doesn’t need “Applause” or a grand stage—her favorite place is a quiet corner, curled up close to the ones she loves. And while she may seem shy, there’s a quiet confidence in her, like a soft echo of “Just Dance”—a reminder that joy doesn’t always have to be loud.

She’s not a diva—she’s a whisper of sweetness, a little star who shines in her own gentle way.

Kitty Gaga is 3 years old. There are no known health concerns. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.

Koi

Let us be coy with you, no...wait...
Let Koi be with you.
Koi is one of the many cats who will soon hit the two year mark at the Sanctuary.
Koi came in with a number of other cats. Some were able to be adopted, though most stayed with us.
Koi came to us from an unfortunate situation. Her home life changed. Her owner tried to do right by her, but we are not sure if she was angry at her life changing or if she was upset that she was at the shelter.
But slowly Koi has been showing us that she has a sweet side. She just doesn't let her guard down all of the time.
But when it's quiet and when she knows the Churu and the turkey lunch meat will make an appearance, she rubs on you and it gives you hope that she may not need to put her guard up ever again.
Maybe in her own home she can finally drop it for good.
Koi would do best in a home that would let her relax on her time. We do not recommend a home with small children.

Koi is about 6 years old, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Kylie

Kylie joined the Sanctuary at Haafsville as an owner surrender because she had a bit of a feud with the resident cat. Although she’s still a bit on edge in her new environment, she’s become more playful when we come near. She loves delicious treats, playing with her toys, and especially rolling around in her enclosure while cooing for attention. Since Kylie has made it clear that she prefers not to share her humans with other cats, a peaceful home would be perfect for her. Even though she’s quite the playful one, she also enjoys just sitting on your lap for some pets or watching the birds with you. If you’re interested in this amazing lady, please reach out to The Sanctuary at Haafsville today!

Kylie is about 4 years old. There are no known health concerns. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.

Lake

After months of bandage changes, TLC and being spoiled rotten- Lake is available for adoption!
Lake, named from being found as an injured stray at Leaser Lake late in 2025 has shown her will to live and THRIVE os larger than any body of water out there.
She will always be a little of special needs cat, benefitting from raised bowls to eat and drink from but this does not slow her down for one second.

She can jump on furniture.
She can jump on the bed.
She can jump over baby gates.
She can jump straight into your heart.

She loves food and treats.
She loves people and being spoiled.
She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home.
So the bad? She needs to be an only cat. After all she has been through, having that as the only "con" is something we will take!
So if you are interested in taking Lake, apply today.
She is approximately 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated , negative for FIV/FeLV and litter box trained (pellet litter).

**She is in foster and not at the shelter.

Lily

Lily was relinquished to the Sanctuary at Haafsville after her mom went to a nursing home. Lily has not been happy at the shelter and is not particularly fond of the other cats. The shelter environment isn’t optimal for her personality and dietary needs. As a result, she must stay in a cage much of the time. Lily really should be in a loving home where she is the only pet and has room to roam. She will thrive in a quiet home with people who love and understand her. Lily really is a good girl who just needs someone willing to give her a chance.

Lily is 8 to 9 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped. Lily needs to be on a diet of strictly C/D food.

Minute Maid

Minute Maid is a petite little girl who craves attention. She tends to keep to herself in quiet and cozy spaces at the shelter. Minute Maid is not a fan of other cats. She is recommended to be the only cat in a home. She would be happy to be in a quiet home where she can relax in a window to enjoy the sunbeam and outside creatures. Please consider opening your heart and home to cute little Minute Maid

Minute Maid is 1 year old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Missy

Take a look at our little Missy
Not yet kissy but not at all hissy
Missy is a bit shy and will likely hide
Just being honest, can’t claim we lied
She may grumble and whine
Truly she just needs patience and time
Good with other cats and would prefer to have a feline friend
With your care, her timid ways will surely end
In a good home, she will thrive and learn to trust
Being her paw-rents is not a want but a must
Missy was a mom but those days are now done
Ready to be carefree, spoiled and have some fun
Petite, pretty and soft - a true doll
Adopt her - send an email or give us a call

Missy is 4 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Nestle

Nestle’s arrival to the Sanctuary at Haafsville had a bitter start. This beautiful girl was dumped at the edge of the road which bears her name. Fortunately, the dog volunteers witnessed it happening and brought her to safety quickly.

Initially and understandably, Nestle was angry, scared and confused. She didn’t trust the volunteers and lashed out. With a little time and a lot of TLC, Nestle has settled in and is adoption ready. No more hissing and airplane ears! She is now bright eyed, alert, curious and attention seeking. Nestle is a kind and gentle soul who should never be discarded like garbage again.
We’re confident Nestle’s stay at the Sanctuary at Haafsville will have a sweet ending.

Nestle is 2 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.

Oreo

Oh, oh, oh, who's that kid with the Oreo kitty?
Adopt Oreo and the answer could be you!

Oreo needs a special adopter.
She is cute.
She is cuddly.
She is a bit of a maniac with toys and zoomies.
And if not for her odd noises and neck that inflates like a frog, you would never know she was unlike a normal kitten.

Oreo has a condition called mega esophagus and hers is a little misshapen too, allowing air to escape and fill (and puff out) her neck.
Taking this into consideration, she must eat with very raised bowls and stay upright after eating for some time.
She is at an increased risk for pneumonia throughout her life, so someone familiar with mega esophagus would be the best fit for her.
She has overcome so much to get to where she is now, we hope she can find her forever home as much as her foster enjoys having her around, she needs her own home.

Oreo is about 7 months old. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Pandora

Those who are versed in Greek Mythology have heard of Pandora's Box, and know that it is not full of rainbows and sunshine. In fact, quite the opposite. But we don't like that opposite here.
So we at, the Sanctuary at Haafsville have their own Box with Pandora. Or a Pandora's Cat Tree. Or a Cat Tree with a cat named Pandora in it.
Pandora is not filled with mean and evil things.
She is filled with love and silliness.
She is petite and adorable.
And she is a little shy, but if you reach into Pandora's Cubby - and start to pet her, her elevator butt will engage and you will have little clearance between her and the top of the cubby to be able to pet her.
She loves to be loved.
Pandora was surrendered to us after her owners were moving and were faced with a pet limit, so she and another kitty were brought here. One found a home and she remains. She gets along with other cats.

Adopt Pandora today and help make the term Pandora's Box associated with happiness and cat fur!

Pandora is 6 years old. There are no known health concerns. Pandora is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.

Phoebe

Phoebe joined the Sanctuary at Haafsville family a few years back as a little one, alongside her siblings and mom. She was cherished in her foster home, grew up, and eventually found her forever home. Unfortunately, Phoebe was returned because she wasn't quite happy with the bustling lifestyle of an active household. While she shared her space with teenagers, she would thrive better in a home with older human companions. On the bright side, Phoebe is totally cool with dogs! During her time with us, we've discovered that she has an absolute passion for food, is unsure if she enjoys the company of cats or prefers to reign as the sole feline, and has a quirky grudge against brooms. We tried to ask her why, but she kept it a mystery... So, if you're on the hunt for a young beauty who will light up your life and keep you entertained, reach out to The Sanctuary at Haafsville today!

Phoebe is 2 years old. There are no known health concerns. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Pizza

The foster mom reports that Pizza will greet you with lots of kisses, purrs and head bumps. If you sit down, she will jump into your lap and settle in. Her favorite toys are fishing pole toys - she is agile and can jump high trying to catch the attached critter. Pizza loves to chase the laser dot too.

Pizza loves being pet on her neck, chin and head. She will stay with you forever and give you loads of head bumps. She is very cuddly.

The foster mom describes Pizza as a little diva. She wants all the attention for herself and does not want to share it with another cat. Pizza should be the only princess in the house.

Pizza does not like Fancy Feast food as it upsets her tummy. She prefers Friskies and she just can’t get enough. She has a good appetite.

Pizza is perfectly litter trained and does not get into any trouble. She promises to love you if you will love and care for her.

Pizza is 1 year old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Sandy Cheeks

Sandy Cheeks is a petite girl with a whole lot of spunk. She is fearless and can give the other cats some trouble. Sandy Cheeks buzzes around the free roam room looking to participate in some shenanigans. She enjoys petting but can get overstimulated if petted too firmly. Sandy Cheeks does not like to be picked up. She prefers to stay by your side for quality time. Sandy Cheeks is a feisty gal who will win you over with her cuteness and charm.

Sandy Cheeks is 1 to 2 years old. There are no known health concerns. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped

Sylvie

Sylvie is a resident in Mandy’s Room at the Sanctuary at Haafsville. This room is dedicated to shy and anxious cats. A group of volunteers provide enrichment to these cats to increase their confidence and adoptability.
Because of these dedicated volunteers, Sylvie is ready to find her forever home.

Sylvie is a quiet and reserved girl. She shows interest and happiness when volunteers and visitors enter the room. Unlike most of her roommates, Sylvie welcomes interaction with people.
She is gentle, trusting and attention seeking. Sylvie gets along well with other non-alpha cats. Sylvie is a very good girl who deserves your consideration when adopting your next feline companion.

Sylvie is about 1 year old. There are no known health concerns. She is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.

Ween

Ween is hoping for a miracle. She is the longest resident in the Sanctuary at Haafsville Cat Building. Ween is sweet, loving, playful, and a shameless mooch! Besides that, she is gorgeous with thoughtful eyes and lovely coloring.

You may be wondering how such a great cat is still at a shelter. It is because this purrfect girl also has occasional accidents outside of the litter box.

Ween is a very special cat who needs a special person, someone who is patient, understanding, and good with a Swiffer! However, the reward is a truly amazing companion. Ween has participated in multiple photoshoots while on a leash and harness. She even completed a 5K riding along in a backpack.

Ween is 5 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV & FIV, and microchipped.
