Donations to the The Sanctuary are channeled into one of our two funds.
Jerry has been
with the Sanctuary at Haafsville since 1/2023 - after surviving injuries which later resulted in a tail amputation and the need to be expressed multiple times a
day.
He is a featured
sponsored cat - and your support there helps us keep him on the prescription food he needs, the pee pads needed for his expressions and other daily items that help him
thrive.
Recently Jerry has
been experiencing crystals in his urine, causing blockages - he is currently at UPENN, where they are trying to find out what options there are so he can continue to live his best
life.
Jerry is only 4
years old and has so much life ahead of him. Everyone who has met Jerry knows how much life he has in him to begin with. Jerry is that friend who even though you've met him 5 seconds ago, makes you
feel like you've known him your whole life. And we don't want to lose our friend.
He loves people,
other cats and dogs. Not many have come across his path he did not take a shine to.
He loves chattering
at the birds, getting zoomies and climbing to the highest perches.
He is a most
deserving cat and needs your help so we can continue to get to a plan in place (surgery or otherwise) to keep letting Jerry do ALL of the Jerry things.

With dedicated patrons The Sanctuary can continue to flourish and help more animals. Please let us know if you would consider patronizing in these following ways.
We accept donations (i.e. food, towels, blankets and much more) that help our resident animals maintain a healthy and comfortable life while living at the Sanctuary. If you are looking to drop-off a donation, please place the items in our green donation bin at the front of the Mutt Hutt (901 Nestle Way location) between Wednesday through Saturday. Please do not leave donations Sunday through Tuesday as we need time to accept the donations into the space at our facility. If you drop items off during our open hours on Saturday, please keep in mind that our adoption teams are actively working with families to try to find their new companion!
Please note we cannot accept any items with stuffing such as comforters, pillows, cushions, sleeping bags, etc. as those items are choking hazards to our animals!
At this time, we are not accepting open bags of dry food, expired food, dog crates or kennels, cat trees, or used litter boxes. Do not donate clothing or miscellaneous items that cannot be used by the items.
Please launder any items you wish to donate as we do not have services to clean donated items. If you are looking to make a monetary donation, you can do so above.
The Sanctuary at Haafsville is a registered 501(c)3 and your donations are tax-deductible under Federal law. If you would like to view the IRS Determination Letter please use the link below. Our EIN is 27-2756157.
The Sanctuary at Haafsville is required by law to file Form 990 with the IRS each year. This document was prepared by an independent firm of certified public accountants. If you would like to review our most recent 990, please use the link below.
