Newt shares the same backstory as many of our Sanctuary residents over the past year. He came to us as part of a situation involving over 100 cats. He was very
nervous at first, choosing a quiet hideout in the corner of the room. However, with time, patience, and the love of our volunteer staff, Newt has really come into his own. He now spends much of his
time, when he is not stretched out and sleeping, exploring the room and socializing with volunteers. Newt enjoys napping in a patch of sunshine. Newt‘s favorite activity is eating and can be won over
with his favorite treats.
This lovely fellow is one of our longest feline residents, having joined the Sanctuary in April of 2019. Initially, his timid personality was an obstacle for finding
a forever home. However, Newt has blossomed into a gentle, sweet cat who deserves a home of his own.
Newt is great with other cats. He has a calm personality and can frequently be found cuddled up with a feline buddy. He is about 5 years old. He is healthy,
neutered, vaccinated, negative for felv and litter trained.
