We Thank You... They Thank You!

The animals of the Sanctuary want to give a big round of paws (applause) to the amazing humans and organizations below; but they also want to acknowledge those who made individual donations for unplanned circumstances such as Hurricane Irma or Florence and other natural disasters that have occured.  THANK YOU!

A Shout Out & Thanks!

For a few years in a row, the Petco Foundation has awarded grants to The Sanctuary at Haafsville.  These grants have enabled hundreds of feral cats, owned cats and dogs to be neutered or spayed and vaccinated, preventing the birth of thousands of kittens and puppies.  Funding was also provided to pay for the expensive treatment of extreme medical cases for some of our rescued dogs and cats.  So, can we all join together and say “Thank you Petco Foundation.”

Special Grant Support

Ween
Ween is hoping for a miracle. She is the longest resident in the Sanctuary at Haafsville Cat Building. Ween is sweet, loving, playful, and a shameless mooch! Besides that, she is gorgeous with thoughtful eyes and lovely coloring.

You may be wondering how such a great cat is still at a shelter. It is because this purrfect girl also has occasional accidents outside of the litter box.

Ween is a very special cat who needs a special person, someone who is patient, understanding, and good with a Swiffer! However, the reward is a truly amazing companion. Ween has participated in multiple photoshoots while on a leash and harness. She even completed a 5K riding along in a backpack.

Ween is 5 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV & FIV, and microchipped.

Ween spends most of her time on the nice list. Don't let a few moments on the naughty list stand between her and a forever home.
