Jerry is a 4-year-old orange tabby with a personality that will make you fall in love with him!
Jerry stays in the “GI special care room” at the cat adoption center. This is an area for cats that have digestive problems. He was rescued from an inner-city shelter where his fate was uncertain. He had an injury that caused him to lose his tail. The injury left Jerry unable to pass urine and stool like other cats. Sanctuary staff and trained volunteers help Jerry empty his bladder 2 or 3 times a day. Jerry also eats a special diet to help with his stomach problems. Jerry loves to climb high in his cat tree to watch the birds or the volunteers hard at work. He has won the hearts of our volunteers!
